Towns and school districts may adopt an “official ballot referendum form of meeting” commonly referred to as an SB2 form of government. Many freedom advocates support or oppose an SB2 form of government. Proponents claim an SB2 form of government allows greater access to voting. Opponents claim that an SB2 form of government increases less informed voting.
