All towns and cities are required to allow keno games starting June 1, 2027 unless each individual town or city explicitly votes to prohibit them. Very few municipalities have voted to prohibit keno games. If a town or city has voted to prohibit keno games they would then need to vote to rescind the prohibition by voting “no” to prohibit the operation of keno games.

Keno is prohibited within Concord, Keene, Portsmouth, Lebanon, and Meredith.
